Children’s Ministry Conference
2nd and 3rd March 2019
Barton Grange Hotel, Garstang Road, Preston. PR3 5AA
Sat only £38pp
The Children’s Ministry Conference will return in 2019, with the theme ‘P is for Parent’. Over the course of the weekend we will be exploring how we as children’s workers, and as churches, can equip parents to raise children who are connected to God. We have three exciting keynote speakers lined up for the Saturday:
- Rachel Turner from Parenting for Faith, and author of ‘It takes a Church to raise a Parent’ will be sharing her expertise and enthusiasm.
- The Rt Revd Dr Jill Duff, Bishop of Lancaster, will be talking about her passion for family ministry.
- Dr Sam Johnson, Deputy Director of Education, will be discussing how we can understand the challenges that face the current generation of under 18’s, ‘Generation Z’.
As usual there will be a choice of inspirational workshops and access to fantastic resources at our mini-marketplace, plus the option to stay over night and join us for the conference dinner and evening programme. For those that do choose to stay, you will have opportunity to use the hotel’s leisure facilities and we will be worshiping together at the local church, (St Lawrence, Barton) on the Sunday morning. This conference has been oversubscribed for the past two years so we would encourage you to book on now to secure your places.
