This Book contains imaginative stories for 6-10s to approach sensitive and topical issues. Each story includes an RE concept (e.g. handling anger) together with ideas for exploring the concept through related Bible stories, Christian viewpoint and discussions.The chapters include thinking time questions and activities. The stories can be used as a basis for RE, but also links to PSHE, Citizenship and Circle Time in primary schools. This book offers a comprehensive range of topics across the RE and PSHE guidelines. The material can be used either in a one-to-one situation or with a group, especially in the classroom, but also in the context of the church and the family. The stories are based mainly on real-life experiences and thus provide an accessible entry point into difficult subjects.
