Advent 2020 with Bishop Philip – A film series with additional resources to use in Collective Worship during Advent

The Blackburn Diocesan Board of Education has produced these films for Primary schools to use in collective worship during Advent. Bishop Philip introduces the theme, tells a Bible story, challenges us to think and lights his Advent Candles. Each act of worship begins with an opening response and concludes with prayer and a blessing. Therefore it is a complete act of worship. However, the whole experience could be enriched by further discussion, prayer and reflection.
This document provides additional resources, questions, ideas for prayer and discussion activities that could be used following the film or throughout the week.
