There is nothing quite like sitting down with like-minded people to share experiences, ideas and to encourage one another. The Youth Team in Blackburn Diocese see it as our privilege and joy to bring together those who are passionate about young people, Jesus and love it when the two meet for a good brew; to share wisdom, ideas and stories, and to uphold each other in prayer.
We run two regular events that seek to enable this to happen, as well as releasing a monthly e-mailing whish is always an interesting read.
Share ideas, meet other youth workers and catch up.
Coffee Meet ups are a monthly opportunity to get together. They have been running for over a year now, and they been a wonderful chance to meet other youth workers from around the Diocese, to share, catch up and support each other.
For a while now we have felt that God is up to something, planning something significant with this generation of young people. As those who would love to see children and teenagers encountering the love of God we felt the best place to start is in prayer and worship. So why not join us as we pray for young people and seek God as to how we best reach & disciple them.
These nights are a great way to connect with each other in prayer.
